Samuella’s Banku is the best I’ve had since moving to the US. I usually make my banku from powder to make less stressful but SK makes the effort to use fresh corn dough to make this banku which gives it an authentic Ghanaian taste and soft texture. I especially love that it’s not too sour like fermented corn dough can be sometimes. SK’s banku is perfect and pairs well with her tasty okro stew as well as fish and pepper. I will be ordering it frequently as I live in Houston and have limited options of Ghanaian food.
