Waakye is one of Ghana’s most popular dishes. To give Waakye its unique color, jasmine rice and black-eyed peas are boiled with dried, red sorghum leaves. Please note this dish is rice only, it does not come paired with Stew or Shito.
Waakye is usually paired with Goat Stew, Gari, Spaghetti, Salad, and of course, Shito.
